Taking care of business

Let's see...

Today I have:
- Taken my mom to the hospital for a little procedure... it's all good. In and out within an hour! Way to go Ontario health system!
- Printed documentation necessary to filing for a lost passport and application for a new passport.
- Called the Kingsville detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police
- Called some 1-888 number as directed by OPP
- Filled out about 5 pages of paperwork (Checking Canada411.com, canadaonline.about.com, GEO Warehouse, and thebsuniesstherapist.com multiple times for addresses, forms, phone numbers and postal codes.)
- Waited by the phone for a return call from an OPP officer. (Whom by the way was incredibly nice, informative and to the point... ahh... like a fresh summer breeze)
- Made appropriate notes on post-its and attached to documents, so 'guarantor' can sign here, here and here...
- Warned 'The Other Liz' that we have known each other for 13 years for when they call to confirm my identity... still have to email KT...

So how come in movies getting a forged or illegally obtained passport is so easy? In the... um... second last novel I read, this couple had shiny new Canadian passports within an hour, (of course at the hands of a master document forger).

Hmm, so today I still have to:

-Lie on the couch and read, 'To Kill A Mockingbird' so far it's excellent. If only all the classics were this readable and enjoyable.
- Go to volleyball, and afterwards have drinks with friends
- Make dinner
- Have a nap

However I should:
- Get new joggies for volleyball
- Have PF sign passport documentation

I think I'll do that next week. Once signed I will have to stand in line at the Windsor Passport Office for 3 hours. (That's how long it took 'The Other Liz' to get her passport ordered.) I'll do that on Tuesday...
Life is good. I have to go and get started on that nap, it's almost noon...
