Snow

It's snowing. With the 16*F weather it finally feels like winter in Southern Ontario.
The snow is supposed to end soon, and we've probably only got an inch today, bringing the grand total accumulation for the week to an inch and a half.

One thing that is a given in this area, is if there is more than 3 inches of snow on the ground, the evening is filled with the sounds of snowmobiles zipping by. We haven't heard that sound yet this year...

Do kids still wear snowpants? I don't mean little kids... I mean like kids in the 1st grade to the 6th grade. My mom made me wear snowpants every day to school if there was more than an inch of snow on the ground until I put the kiebash on that in about the 6th grade. I remember I wanted to wear new off white pants to school, (obviously a huge faux pas) and there was snow on the ground. She threatened that if I got those pants dirty or soaked I would wear snowpants everyday until the 1st of May. Hahaha. I still remember standing on the asphalt in the playground not wanting any kids to come near me.

I don't miss snow pants in the least. I guess that's one of the benefits of adulthood.
