So much to talk about

Where to begin?

I, and most other of our group of girls went to The Other Liz's on Thursday night. It was great, but I forgot the brie dip. Dumbass. There were six of us, and we consumed 3 bottles of wine, however, KT didn't have any SuperT had only 1 glass, DD, (Not Divine Divorcee) had a couple of Caesars - no wine, and Rach maybe had 2 glasses, and TOL perhaps 3 glasses. That means I drank pretty much 2 bottles... Needless to say I struggled on Friday to clean the house and function as a normal human being. Great time though, can't wait to do it again, minus the excessive consumption...

We left at 6 am on Saturday to go to Billy's cousin's near London. I didn't know that we were taking the car, and did not gas up the night before. Needless to say, there's not too many gas stations open at 6 am in the small stick towns that we drive through to get to the 401. Ask Billy if he believes that you can drive more then 10 kms further when the car says '0 kms to empty'. Ask Billy if he likes walking along the side of the 401 when it is 6:30 am, 0*C, windy and raining... That poor man. At least we were only 2 kms from the service station... Ah, lesson learned! Good husband for not freaking out! Good husband for recovering from super poopy start to the day, and enjoying the week-end after all!

If you are in need of a good laugh and some serious fun, I highly recommend watching 5 and 6 year olds play hockey. Good God it's funny. So cute.

We left London at 8am on Sunday so I could get back for my out of town buyers. Ugh, they were 45 minutes late... It's all good though. Open house after that, and dinner at Mom G's last night.

All in all, it was a busy, fun week-end. I'm looking forward to some couch time. I'd also like to say that 'To Kill A Mockingbird' was one of the best books I've ever read, (I've read a few in my life...) I loved the writing style, the story, characters and the diction. Just excellent. I only wish that all the classics were so good! (Sandra Brown novel I read at the open house yesterday, Not So Good, it, in fact, sucked!)
