I'm unemployed, (without the benefit of receiving Unemployment Insurance). I'm 33, in 3 weeks I'll be 34 and I haven't a job. Let's review some of my career highlights:
- Babysitter for my piano teacher from the age of 12 until I was 17. I babysat on a Saturday night every couple of weeks.
- Babysitter and housekeeper the summer I turned 15. The people were caterers and I would start 5 or 6 days a week at 8am and sometimes would finish at 5 am. Once in a while they would dump this 2 year old on me. They didn't have central air, and their little girl did all the cooking.
- Ride Operator/relief Zone Manager at Island of Boblo Company Inc. Boblo Island! I worked summers there from the time I was 16/17 until it closed when I was 20/21. Too much fun. Great memories...
- Cashier at A Buck or Two. I worked winters there when I was 19 and 20. It kinda sucked.
- Babysitter for my boyfriend at the time's sister when I was in my first year at University.
- Strip club bus driver evenings and slutty club promotions broad, week-ends and days off during my 2nd year at University. This is obviously the job I have really good stories to tell about. Oh yeah I've got stories...
- Self serve gas cashier. This job was hardly a job. I worked there for about 3 1/2 years while in University then in college to be a Realtor. It was fun. I did my homework there, chatted on the phone and had 'friends' over.
- Assistant to a Realtor during early 1997 until October 1997, before and just after I was licensed. I hated my boss and he hated me. When I bumped into him years following he'd call me Lisa. Idiot!
- Realtor July 3rd 1997 until June 30th, 2007. It had it's ups and downs. I hated being at Century 21 Request. It was a dirty office, and I couldn't understand a word my broker said. The women at Buckingham Realty didn't like me, (probably because I wasn't in my mid sixties). CBCR was great, good people and a nice office. I wasn't there enough to miss any of them though...
That's it. Not very exciting. Who knows what will come now?

Now is when you relax and have fun for a while and then you can write the great Liz Grady novel. Or you can do what ever it is that you want to do. Cheers to the journey of discovery!
