I've been sick. Like in bed, can't move, eat, think, poop - sick. I'm better now thank God. Actually I felt fairly cured this morning and good thing, as I had an 11am tee time... should have stayed home... but it was fun.... match play tomorrow... ugh
It's a week-end where Billy is on call and he's working like a total donkey. I think he has been out for 8ish hours already today, and he just left for another call in the city. It's really stressful and hard on him, and I always feel bad.
Just before he left I squeezed in an older episode of 'How I Met Your Mother'. If you have not seen this gem I totally recommend it. It is a laugh out loud funny show. This episode has been sitting in our DVR bank for months, and I decided to watch it yesterday when I was able to crawl out of bed and thought I could use a laugh.
Perhaps it was the fever, but OMG, I laughed my ass off, and again tonight with Billy.
Here's the spoiler so don't read if you plan on running out and buying the first season on DVD... In this particular episode a main character, Robin, won't go to the mall and there is much speculation why... and then Barney discovers this video and it explains everything... (apparently the 80's didn't reach Canada until about 93...)
I can't explain why this touched my funny bone, but I'll be giggling 'aboot' this for a while!
