One of those days

Do you ever have one of those days that you awake actually feeling like you sleep the amount required to function with a bounce in your step? I did today, amazingly enough, although I know that I didn't sleep very well...

Maybe it has to do with the nice cool night air, and the crisp morning. It was so pretty today. The coffee this morning was really good too. I had a good but short visit with my mom, and Halia played with Lily enough to get tired out.

I went grocery shopping and found some great deals. (Half priced Campbell's soup, half priced pasta, $2 off cheese...) It was nice to come out of the store and not be assaulted by 95*F with 100% humidity. Smile. My post yesterday inspired me to buy perogies, and I had them for lunch. They might be my new kick...

I did some cleaning around the house, took the pooch for a walk, read a little bit of Golf Digest, and made Billy's favourite dinner, as he is working late, and I don't particularly like cooking at possibly 8pm at night. I'm going to have last night's left-overs in a little bit, yummy.

When Billy gets home, we're going to watch Tuesday's and tonight's episodes of Big Brother and just hang out. All in all it has been a fantastic, mellow day. Maybe it seems so great because I had the time and quiet to appreciate it. I love my life...
