Another beautiful day! Yesterday was gorgeous. Kiks and a couple of other women golfed at Sutton Creek, and although I golfed really bad, my score was okay at 100. Not great, but considering I probably had 30 putts, I'll take it. I have to do something about my putting!
So there are a ton of good things coming up, and a few things that I'm happy to be done with. Let's review:
Happy to be done with:
- Yahoo Fantasy Golf. It's a damned long season. Once your golfers are chosen on a Wednesday, you feel compelled to check on them to perhaps switch them out. Then you feel it necessary to watch it on Sunday to see if you did well. Enough watching golf on TV! I think the 'real' season restarts in January.
- Volleyball. I'm glad that Billy made the executive decision to not play this year. I have played at least one night at week in the winter (and some summers) for 15 years. Yep, pretty happy to not be playing.
- Hot nights. Although it's still in the 70-80's during the day, the nights are cool again. How nice.
Good things coming up:
- Golfing at Pointe West tomorrow. I hope I do well. I hope I don't embarrass myself. I hope I don't break the patio chair and fall on my ass in front of Billy's co-workers and boss. I hope he doesn't comment about my weight. I still have nightmares about that.
- Mexican Village with some friends on Monday. Always fun and good food. Plus you can't beat the people watching. Can you say transvestite waitress?
- Golfing next week. I hope the weather is good.
- Camping in Grand Bend. Although I'm not a huge fan of The Pinery, it's always fun. There are some good shows at the Drive In as well. Yeah!
- Cleveland! We have Cleveland Brown vs. Miami Dolphin tickets. We're going to stay two nights and Billy knows of a kick ass steak house. Yeah! Can't wait! Cleveland does rock.
- Football on Sundays. Especially with no open house. Quitting real estate was the best thing I've ever done! I can't believe my stress level. It's nil.
- Billy going to Tennessee. No, not because I want him to be 'gone', just because the man needs a vacation. Plus I'll feel better about having the girls over and trying new recipes.
- Getting a job. It will be nice to have some bigger purpose to my day other than making my tee time and making the bed.
-Christmas. Oh yes, I love Christmas! It'll be here sooner than we think! Buying and decorating the tree, the awesome parties, the shopping, wrapping, eating, drinking and merriment making in general, can't (but will) wait!
Life is good, what else can I say?
