It is only a few short hours until the Christmas season officially begins. Yes, it seems even in this part of Canada that the Christmas season begins on 'Black Friday'. Even here we have sales, (of course trying to attract the cross border shoppers...) and now it is socially acceptable to listen to Christmas music, (although WNIC has been playing it for weeks now...)
I love the traditions that go with the season. Today's tradition is watching football at Billy's old regular hang-out. Guys skip work, and slip in for a few beers. People trickle in after work. (not Billy - he declares himself done at It is truly the tip off of merry fun holiday get togethers.
Loved the result of the Lions game. Miami killed with Joey as the quarterback. (dumped last year by the Lions...) great game, and good fun.
From this week-end until Christmas, I have at least one party every week. (I'm really not that popular) I can't wait. I love the relaxed social atmosphere of the holidays. Everyone is in a good mood and eager to socialize, (of course lots of great stories, laughs and gossip results...)
Ahh, bring it on!
